“I wanted to create something that everyone could wear, 

together or separately, something like a puzzle of core staples, 

something like a capsule wardrobe of accessories, 

of sorts, of memories, of a forgotten era, 

something for the everyday person to aspire to,

a kind of escape from the mundane 

but not so far removed from reality 

that the ticket seems to have been taken away, the ship sailed, the airplane vanished beyond

the horizon… “
